While hiring in the transportation and warehousing sector soared in October, surging ecommerce sales are nevertheless expected to test logistics firms’ capacity this holiday season, according to a recent news report. Crain’s Custom Media checked with executives of four third-party logistics firms, each with a presence in Chicago, for their thoughts about this fast-growing industry, including the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
